Silencer can make a good carry as long as he gets enough int to deal the damage out.

With more int he will do more damage with his W. Try to be part of all team fights and ganks so you can gain more int whenever enemy heros die.

Focus on int items. Although most int items also have an active ability so don't overwhelm yourself with 5 activated items.
