Also known as the Grand Prix event run from 25 June to 9 July. Users were able to choose which team to compete for and thus contribute with points for their team. Five teams were available.


Sadly enough there were no trading cards in this event. Valve was experimenting with new ideas for their events but this turned out to be a bad one.


There was a points shop where you can buy levels for your Grand Prix badge, emotes, and backgrounds.
Everyday randomly chosen people were granted free games if their team won the day.

Started 26 November 2019 up to 3 December 2019. The Spring and Autumn sales are not as big as the Summer and Winter ones. The purpose of this sale was to nominate games for the Steam Awards. You can nominate games in every category. There is a badge with 4 levels, 25xp each.

The purpose of these festivals is to popularize upcoming games. You can play demos for free and watch interviews and participate in different activities throughout the festival.

The Steam Game Festival

19 December 2019 - 2 January 2020
The sale featured the Steamville event. There was a points shop where you can buy backgrounds, emotes, stickers, chat effects, badges, and holiday profile.

Also, users were able to vote for the Steam Awards. The winners were announced on 31 December 2019.
There were free missions every day which granted you 100 points for free. Other ways of getting points were also presented like spending money on Steam.

There were two types of badges acquired by cards, one bought with tokens, and one won after completing all missions in the event.


Chat effects and animated stickers were introduced in Steam.

May 21 - May 28 2020

The main purpose of this event is to play games you haven't in a while. You can also discover new titles. There is a badge rewarded for completing the missions.

This time the event was live for a whole week. It started on 16 June 2020 and ended on 22 June 2020.


At the festival, you can download and play demos for upcoming games for free. There were everyday activities like interviews with developers and more.

Also known as the Steam Road Trip this sale introduced the points shop which is here to stay. There you get points for the games you buy and can use them for stickers, emotes, backgrounds, badges, etc.

During the sale, the shop featured the so-called Debute Collection.

You were able to get a free animated sticker every day or buy them after the sale.
