How to Change Dead Space 3 Field of view (FOV)

Edit config file to change FOV

Open %LOCALAPPDATA%\EA Games\Dead Space 3\system.txt
or
C:\Users\Computer Name\AppData\Local\EA Games\Dead Space 3

1. Search for the line Window.FOVScale
2. Change the value from 1.00000000 to a higher one (default FOV is around 75°).
3. Save your changes.

I put mine to Window.FOVScale = 1.25000000 and it looks good with no fish Bowl effect or Tunnel Vision Effect.

Edit config file to change FOV

Open %LOCALAPPDATA%\EA Games\Dead Space 3\system.txt
or
C:\Users\Computer Name\AppData\Local\EA Games\Dead Space 3

1. Search for the line Window.FOVScale
2. Change the value from 1.00000000 to a higher one (default FOV is around 75°).
3. Save your changes.

I put mine to Window.FOVScale = 1.25000000 and it looks good with no fish Bowl effect or Tunnel Vision Effect.

wonder if setting Window.WideScreen = false to true, would help

Thanks for this. While the default FOV is alright it does feel a bit cramped at times. I will give this a try.

@Mic it's because you're folder is hidden. Follow this link to make it visible.
