So I know the first step of anything is the hardest without proper guide. Well, here is the proper guide you'll need to be AWESOME.

First, you're going to want to spruce up your inventory a little. People love foaming out the mouth over your items. Make sure you get a really expensive hat (ex. Max's Severed Head, any unusual, etc.) and some war paints for your items such as Jazzy and that's the only cool one.

Second, you're going to need some paint for your hats. The most eye-catching and awesome colors for your hats are PINK and LIME GREEN. Nothing SCREAMS "I GET WOMEN" Like a lime green Blast Defense for your Demo load-out.

Third, you NEED the laugh taunt. Lots of people forget this step but its very crucial to getting people to notice you as MORE COOL THAN THEM. You need to laugh after every kill. Make sure you go a character with some health if you're planning on doing this though, as you will get targeted because of your sheer COOLNESS.

After you have your awesome cosmetics out of the way, you need a fool proof way to get attention from your fellow players. Well, it is a lot easier than you might think.

First, type in chat often. Nothing is better than a new player with cosmetics up the ass bossing around your engie where to put his sentry. So, do exactly that! Also, if you see a team member with no cosmetics, always call him a noob because he is!

Second, be sure to use voice chat too! Some people might ignore chat, and if that is the case, grab their attention with some ear r@pe! It is really funny, people laugh at it all the time. Even negative attention can be positive attention, as long as somebody notices your pink hat.

Third, press E. It is very important that at least somebody notices your hat and swag, so if nobody else is, make the medic notice! Just hit that E key and he'll come running in no time! Be sure to spam it every time you take one damage, because the medic should always pocket the person with the most money spent on the game, it's just smart.

Fourth, just get in the way! If you stand in front of your engie or sniper, basically preventing them from playing the game, they have to notice your cosmetics! So, this method is fool proof.

Remember, as long as somebody notices your stuff, you won in the end.

Hey so since you're by now a pro in how to be awesome, here's some things that might get people to like you in the game instead of just focusing on attention.

First, winning the game. Now, this part is honestly not that important. You don't have to win to get attention so what is the point? Sure, it makes your team happy, but that isn't really what you're here for.

Second, scoring well on the leaderboard. Honestly, you don't even need one point on the board as long as you're in the front. The sheer sight of your swag is usually enough to scare the enemy team back into their spawn, so that should be enough for your team and you.
