How to get the "Good Ending?" Achivement
By dan54
A really bad guide I wrote back in 2020 on how to get the Good Ending? Achievement. Contains a hint at the start for those who dont want to be told exactly how to do it, but want to know where to look to get it.

Introduction
Welcome to the first Worbital guide on steam, going over how to get the secret "Good Ending?" achievement. If you do not want to know exactly how to get the achievement, but want to know where to look, in the section after this there is a hint on where to look.

So, let's get on to how to get the achievement!

Hint
Prevent the entire campaign from ever happening.

If you want to, you can leave the guide now and try find it for yourself. But if you don't, lets continue on how to get this achievement!

How to get it!
First you have to go to Prologue in the campaign. Simple enough!

But in Prologue there is one thing in your way, stopping you from getting this glorious achievement, and joining the few that have it. One thing that stands, or, rather, orbits in your way.

It's this dirty pile of rock.

It may be very tempting to just blow it up as soon as you get a railgun in Prologue, but you have to hold off for a bit.

Next, play through prologue normally until you construct a coloniser. Now it's time to get revenge on the yellow planet for causing all the Worbital Wars in the campaign.

DO NOT launch a coloniser at the yellow planet, otherwise you will fail. Instead, you need to destroy it.

Build up all four railguns, and do what Worbital players do best. Blow stuff up! Use your railguns to dig into the core of the planet.

It may be useful to blow up a nearby small grey planet, and use the shards of its detonation to help destroy the Yellow Planet. Lume will tell you off for being a bit excessive, but it's for the greater good.

The nearby Grey Planet.

Also, while you're attacking the Yellow Planet, launch that coloniser of yours into the sun, to also get the "Set the Colonisers for The Heart of the Sun" achievement. I mean, there's no reason not to, right? (apart from all the innocent lives being roasted in the sun's heat)

Congrats! When you blow up the core of the planet, you will get the achievement, and this will happen -
The Outcome
I don't even need to write anything here. The images speak for themselves.

Congratulations! You prevented the Worbital Wars from ever happening!... for now. You're probably being shamed across the entire planet for being the worst captain ever, but still, you saved the world! And now you get to enjoy the fireworks...

End
I hope you enjoyed this guide! Hopefully it helped you out, and you have a new shiny steam achievement!

It also didn't help that it was released when Kingdom Hearts 3, the Resident Evil 2 remake and other massive titles were being released.

It did not help that basically no profits were made and it barely got any coverage in videos.
