Foreword
The main goal I set for myself when writing this, was to help settle the 'is it worth it' debates. And the short answer to it is that it depends on the situation. From person to person, Mackerel to Mackerel, the answer will fluctuate to suit a player's individual goals and interests. This is just here to help players make informed decisions for themselves.

What this is not, is a how to guide. I've gone to some lengths to ensure that I spoil as little as possible, beyond of course the existence of an object you may not have noticed before, and what ship it might be located on.

Much of this information is pre-Salvage Your Future (0.4) update. I've added a version number to the tables, to reflect how accurate you can expect the information to be.
Barge Salvage
Most of the values in this table have been confirmed over independent shifts. Where values are paid out by kilogram, there is a small margin of error due to rounding.

I've decided to stop adding screenshots, but I'm not going to remove what's there. The time cost/benefit just isn't there.

Leaving this as its own section. I'm hoping that as the game grows, the list of items here grows with it. Most of these items are simply picked up, however some are not.

Item Photos
A note on this section: The screenshots were taken deliberately so as to not spoil the location of the items, just to give players an idea of what to look for. I got the idea for this the first time I salvaged a silverfish. I hadn't a clue what it was or where it came from. Discovering that all computer terminals have the same name, but different values, also prompted this. Now you don't have to play word sharades with me in the guide, you can see a picture of what I meant.

Or at least kindof. The amount of time I was sinking into getting collecting these, compared to their value-added is very low. I'll leave what's here here, mostly out of nostalgia for the many Utility Keys my saved games lost in the wipes. Unless I get requests floor clarification though, soon just became never.

The tables themselves can be copied from this page, just paste them without retaining the source formatting. Likely something along the lines of paste special, values only. Not sure the exact phrasing, I avoid using Microsoft products when I can.

Is there a version of this I can pull into excel?

I'm working on it. There's been a lot of changes, and I really haven't updated much of this since I think 0.3. I had the time back then thanks to COVID shutdowns, and haven't really been able to sit down with it since work started up again.

hm nice to see some veriables to my already efficent work, as im on standard and im now clocking 2 shifts for the macral (the smallest ships because its a pain to fix spelling on steam) as aposed to 3 i did before and ya i will rip a few bits off make the doors and quickly rapid drop most barge items down with unupgraded tools so im really fast apperintly so ya
Maelstrom 10 Sep, 2021 @ 9:33am
I've gotten to the point, especially with the Mackerel, I'll scrap most of the nanocarbon, and then just stick what remains of the ship in the furnace.
SGAMEZ 8 Sep, 2021 @ 7:50pm
Here some of the values i found in 0.5.1 same in 0.6.0 Tho outdated from list:
