Original Description:
Humans have been able to melt metals using heat for centuries, for some reason in Rimworld you need magnets.

This is a fueled version of the Electric Smelter that consumes large amounts of wood instead of large amounts of power.

It comes fully equiped with custom textures (a Frankenstein of the Smelter and Fueled Smithy...).
Requires Smithing research to construct.

This is my first ever RimWorld mod, so it is likely not perfect, and requires further balancing.
I searched for a while, and could not find a mod that adds a fueled Smeltery, if one exists, I would love a link!

Also, I realise that getting metal out of processed slag is hard, but correct is not always fun.

Wow! Cool to see that this is still being updated, thanks for keeping it going for the last seven years since I originally uploaded it! It's been so long that I don't even remember how to work the file structure for the mod system anymore, and I appreciate you doing it.

Also forgot that used to be my steam name! Don't bother changing it in the description it's funny.

I have been using fueled smelter, crematorium and smithy for quite awhile but I have never seen anyone create a fueled machine bench or a fueled turret. Even if they were fueled with chem fuel instead of wood it would really be nice especially when the electric grid goes down. Thank you for the mod. It is really useful.
