Ghost Cop Car

The driver was a Chief of Police, who had a no-nonsense attitude the whole time when at work. He was in a high-speed police chase, when the criminal car swerved out of the way in a tight turn, barely making it. When the Chief tried to swerve out of the way of a meat truck, he hit it on the side, the glass shattering and impaling the driver in the cop car, and causing a leak in the pipe directly behind the driver in the meat truck, freezing him to death, since the doors were jammed. Both the drivers in each the cars died, one impaled by a ton of shards of glass, one killed by freezing to death.
Some say that they hear a siren in the night, or even flashing blue and red lights, accompanied by blinding headlights. Sometimes, a lucky soul can see the back of it, seeing the licence plate of the cop car that crashed, and seeing the broken chassis and exposed parts of it.
