For 6.2 I would only go for using bombs I actually died and felt like spikes didnt help at all.
For the last map I built two blue generator on the first two waves. Blocking with Bart on one side and using Clu and Zula for clearing early waves on each side.
Some bowguns at convenient places and letting Zula and Kalim generate blue.
The rest is just going around bombing or shooting with Clu.
Initially I did a slow run of 5.2 with building segments between progression and generating resources. After realizing how strong blue generating is you could leave 2 or even 3 of the characters at the start generating blue and just bomb your way to victory.
After discovering how strong this was I do believe that as soon as you get the blue generator all maps become easy to do with that strat. Bowguns and turret blocks can be used to with Bart for some extra time or protection, but all maps in the end except 6.1 for obvious reasons.
Thus, when using e.g. always only 2 colors, a maximum of 25 Turrets can be built.
When the limit is exceeded, the first built turrets disappear, but the order does not correspond to the building sequence.
