Review of Each tribute to D-Day division

In this guide i'll be reviewing all the divisions in the latest Tribute to D-Day dlc.

1st Pancerna
Very good tank division with alot of options from Cromwells for speed to Sherman V's with 3 cards of Sherman fireflies (1c and 2 Vc's), recon tab is nothing to special just the standard a few infantry and a few Vehicles such as Morris LRC, stuart V and cromwell. Infantry Tab is kinda ok not great but not bad either so tanks in numbers would be needed as fire support. Support tab is fairly standard, Supply truck, 3 commanders, 2" mortars and a card of MG's the best unit in support tab I'd say is cromwell VI, The Anti tab is standard with Piats, 6 pdrds, 17pdrs but with 4 cards of archilles 2c. AA tab is ok, you get BOFORS both static and mobile, a tri polsten on a tank and a crusader AA Mk2, Arty is standard, Mortars, 25pdrs, leaders and recce with a card of offmap and 4 cards of sexton. The Air tab Is plentiful ranging from recon planes all the way to bombers with heavy payload, to name a few Hurricane mk 4 either with bombs, rockets or as a pure fighter, Mosquiotes as a fighter or bomber with 2 diffferent payloads, spitfires and mustangs. Overall I think this division suits a flatline income but with the amount of options you get can be played as an infantry support focused deck with Sherman V's and cromwell VI and fireflies for AT with AT guns in the AT tab, with alot of aircraft, or you can play it as an early mobile division with cromwells utilizing their speed, the archilles and fireflies for At purposes but at the expense of infantry fire support.
2nd infantry Indian head
Good all round Division with plentiful Infantry, good recon options, and has good arty. The recon tab Utilises the standard jeep with 50.cal standard US recon infantry, scouts and snipers and the m8, the star in the recon tab is the Ranger maruaders a 3 man team with thompsons willy pete and a bazooka, The Infantry tab has some very good infantry such as the demolition group which can only be taken in C, basics which combined with ranger LMG's can be a ok option, Standard rifles with 2 LMG's Engineers with TNT, rangers with flamethrowers, Assault group with smoke grenades and 2 Thompsons and 6 grease guns and leaders. The tank tab leaves something to be desired with only Stuarts, M4A1 and the Rhino. Support Tab gives us some options but fairly standard. the 2 stars in this Tab are the Crocodile which can be used in Phase C only and the Ranger T30 HMC. AT tab is standard with M1 guns, M5 guns, plentiful amount of M10's basookas but the star is the M18 Hellcat, very good speed and gun but lacks armour, so definitely a glass cannon. The Anti Air Tab is ok but expensive, the only 2 units you get are BOFORS and the M16 MGMC. The Artillery tab is amazing, You get standard leader however you get Mortars ranging from 60mm all the way to 107. The 60mm has an insane fire rate while the 81 and 107mm are what we're used to but come with radios and in some cases a supply truck. you also get m3 105mm howitzers and M2A1 howitzers. you also get the M21 MMC if you want a more mobile deck. The long toms are Ok for long range but with low availability at 1/2/4 (however 3 cards) they may not be taken as much. The return of the xylophone was a nice addition to the game but may not be taken in favour of mortars. The air tab is just made of P47's and P38's in tank buster loadouts, fighter, fighter bomber or bomber. Overall i think this deck could suit a vanguard income. with the amount of options can be static or a mobile division
6th Airborne
A very Good infantry division with alot of good infantry but lacks in the AA tab and the tank tab. The recon Tab has the standard Scouts, snipers and pathfinders, The new additions include Eclaireurs, the tetrach with little john adaptor and the Daimler little johns. The Infantry Tab has some disheartened troops and alot of good AT infantry such as airlanding and AB paras with either gammon bombs or the PIAT, The Ox&bucks is your standard rifle team but with the addition of captured german HE grenade. your leaders include the belgium leader in Phase B which are standard leaders with 4 rifles, a piat and smoke grenades, or you can go for the AB canadian leaders which has willy pete, you also get AB canadian paras with willy pete. you could also go for the belgium grenadier volt with gammon bobms or AB engineers with TNT, you can't go wrong. The tank tab is ok tetrachs which you can get in A or B, Cromwell V in B or C or challenge In C. the support tab is standard with 2" mortars, Mg teams, supply trucks and commanders with the added Centaur IV. AT tab is standard with Piats, 6 pdrs, 17pdrs but with the edition of a 2 star PAK40 in A. The AA tab isn't great with only polstens, or tri-polstens. arty tab with 3" morars, M1 howitzers, 25pdrs and offmap in both 203mm and 381mm. Air tab is amamzing with Mosquiptes as bombers or flame bombers, tempests as a fighter bomber or fighter and typhoons with AT rockets. you also get access to recon planes. I think this deck can be a vanguard deck but can suit other incomes. This does emphisise the use of infantry and support from cheap tanks and aircraft, The amount of options you get in this deck you can fiddle around for hours in.
12.SS Panzer
Overall a very well made and balanced division with alot of options. The recon tab is very standard for tank divisions, mostly vehicles such as the bmw, panzer 4J, spw231 and 233 and so on with 2 infantry recon, the new unit beute firefly is a choice, do you take the firefly which is cheap but outmatched by the panther D which is more available, (1/3/5 vs 1/0/0), The Infantry tab is ok but not great as per usual with tank divisions, you get the Panzer grens and panzergrens with fausts, you get sturmpioneers and you get the standard leaders, however all Infantry bar leaders have the fanatical trait meaning they will never surrender although leader still recommended due to upvetting the units (you don't want to vet them in the deck) and to provide less morale dmg given, The tank tab is where this division shines, you have 5 cards of Panther D and 3 cards of Panther G, 1 card of Tiger E fuh (wittman being in that card) and 2 cards of Tiger E, you only have 1 card of Panzer 4J and 5 of Pz4H. So the option would be do you take alot of expensive panthers at the lack of availability long run, or do you take loads of panzer 4's which are plentiful but lack armour. The support deck is nothing special just the standard flammpanzer, grille, commanders and IG 18's support trucks and felds, with 2 units of mg42's, the anti tank tab is hideous, at 3 cards costing 2/3/4 and the only options you get are pz shrek, jagdpanzer 4 and pak 40, The AA tab is plentiful with some decent units including flak 38 20mm, flak 36, mobelwagon and 3 cards of 88's (would recommend 88's due to dual purpose that can double up as AT), the aa tab costing 1/1/1/1/2/2/3, The arty tab is amazing consisting of usual units from howizters and mortars, mobile variants of them and leader but introduces the wurfrahmen 40's. the Air tab is expensive but you get access to fw190's in fighter bomber loadouts, 190's as fighters, and ju188's Overall this deck is suited to Flatline or maverick.
17.SS Panzergrenadier
A decent mechanised deck but nothing too special to write home about. The recon tab is your standard infantry or the vehicles such as 233 and 231. The infantry tab is good giving standard panzergrens and panzergrens with fausts, you get volksdeutsche and pioneers but the new unit SS legionari is a nice touch having the fanatical trait, the leaders arn't special and are the standard, the tank tab consists purely of Stug 4's, The support tab again is the standard you get in most axis divisions but with the new commander (Bef.Traction), the AT tab is better and has more options, you get the standard pak 40's pak 38's and shreks but you also get marder 3 and marder 3M as well as the jagdpanzer 4 (4 cards) However also has the Krupp 88 AT gun which we will probably see alot of use from. The AA tab is the standard 20mm, 37mm, flak 88's and 7/1s, Arty tab again is the standard howizter and mortars with leaders, but you also get access to 4 mlrs being 2 nebelwerfer 41 and 2 nebelwerer 42 aswell as some decent offmap, the air tab conists of recon plane, JU87's with 37mm gun pods or 1 250kg bomb, a me109 with rockets or the ju88s with clusters or bombs and an me109 as a fighter.Overall this deck suits vanguard, mav and flatline although it'll be a consistent 2 tick for the ju88 with clusters,
3rd Fallschirmjager
An Amazing infantry deck but lacks in the tanks. The recon tab is standard infantry, but with the panzer abwher (a full sized At team) and the addition of the AB41 gives you options, The infantry tab is amazing, with 8 cards of Fs-Jagers using fg42's with g43's and 2 mg34 and faust, 1 card of sturmjagers using 2 fg42 and 7 mp44's at 1 vet means they are the best inf in this deck but lack of availability with 6 in phase A at 1 star minimum or 4 with 2 stars means you have to manage them carefully, you also get pioneers and sturmpioneers with either HE or flamethrower, the LW jager is a cheap infantry squad which can be spammed aswell as having leaders makes this a deck to be reckoned with, The tank tab lacks 'good' tanks consiting of L6 light tanks and stugs only. The support tab is standard but now with LG42 recoiless rifles. The AT tab is ok with standard pz shreks, pak 40 and 38 but new additions of a pupchen with a 88mm heat shell which does 200mm pen but max range of 500m makes this a very good ambush AT gun if you can get tanks close enough to use, aswell as the PAK41 gerlich with only 120mm of pen but it's fairly cheap AT, AA tab is standard 20mm or mobile 20mm on a schwimm, or 3 cards of 88's, Arty tab is decent with mortars, howitzers and offmaps a 210 and a 380mm) the Air tab is fairly good with the JU88-S1 with flames, 3 cards of HS129's 2 cards of B3 and 1 card of B-2 and figthers with bombs,aswell as pure fighters. Overall I think this is gonna be a very good deck to play as with the 600m range fg42's and with good AT air support can hold it's own, TheJU88 with flames imho is a should take but the amount of options you get you can't really go to wrong. I think this deck will suit vanguard,flatline and maverick well.

@prince of arabia. this is an issue with most DLC it took me 6 install attempts to get the tribute to D-Day Dlc to work. as dumb as it sounds you need to just keep hitting the install over and over. its clearly a huge mistake on Eugens part. as i recently bought All the Dlc and game. and it seriously took me like 6 hours to finally install all DLC, hope this helps matey

i cant access the DLCs in game. even though i purchased it, i contacted steam and they said go to the game support, please help.

ah ok. Basically you want the bunkers looking at areas where you think the enemy is most likely to come from, so the mg's looking at open ground followed by forests. etc etc, they arn't meant to win you the game alone, just stall the enemy advance and make it harder for them to push you, a well placed bunker can be havoc to deal with if you don't know what you're doing. I changed my 2nd 12.SS to have gun pits to have the AA Flak 88's and Arty pieces in, there isn't a right setup for defensive structures, but the recommened are treches, barbed wire, AT gun bunkers and mg bunkers,

What do you mean by "The bunker", do you mean the defensive structures?
as you probably see i have 2 decks for each division (they are outdated since i updated them) and one 12.SS has the 190-G-3 the other has the A-8 etc etc.

I am very interested in the 12th SS and wanted to know how you use the bunker. I've never used them because I thought they weren't as effective. Where do you use it?
With the planes, I had considered going on the FW 190 G-3 because of the bombs and the good speed.
