Report a translation problem
I pick up Miku (who starts with Mayhem[+stat for +doom]) and with ill-fated I roll perks until I get her the Already Doomed perk(+rea for failed skillchecks.)
From there I prioritize strength and get her a shovel to fight with, and you worry about doom and STA from then on. If you have monument unlocked, and eventually you get Looting perk, you're mostly set.
Mystery order was Sailors, Vigil, Footage, Household Hell, and Crimson Cape.
I took any option in an event that I felt had the lowest risk, as sometimes attempting to do something will cost -2 to a stat when ignoring it will only cost -1.
Picked up Fast Swimmer as early as possible, which let me defeat most enemies in 1-2 turns, and got Running Shoes to reduce my penalty from escaping ghosts.
Barely scraped by, ending my last mystery with 1 STA 1 REA, but had everything I needed to clear the skill checks in the Lighthouse and plenty of doom to spare with the Crestfallen Mask.
