I made this mod with reference to the old Zhanjiang West Railway Station in China. This old #2/3 "platform" is not actually used for passenger boarding and landing, at least I haven't seen it ever. After all, for that station, waiting on such a platform is both dangerous and inconvenient.
However, I did see such a railway station without platform in Thailand. For a foreign tourist, it's a little difficult to find the railway station you're looking for. After all, it's just an open space, and maybe it's full of weeds nearby.
But it has to be said that this experience is very interesting and this kind of railway stations do seem to save money and facilitate the travel of local residents.
