New Menu icons

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
This mod replaces main menu icons.

Vehicle iconology is very strong in this game for a good reason, but I feel it overdid it by using vehicle icons for roads and building too.

So this mod simply replaces the 4 main building icons with roads, tracks, pier and runway icons.

It might maybe makes sense for you too.

PS : and if some icons doesn't please you, you can simply remove them from the mod folder :

Well, not exactly. I wanted to figure what was the ground installation for each of these. Installation that you will place via buildings too. You can't really display an air path nor a water path easily so instead I used a pier and a runway. clouds and water would be too generic else I would need to replace track and rail by ground for both if we go this way.

I have to agree with Oldhip. 2 better, 2 worse.

The road and track one are much better then default. But I would have made the boat icon into 2 waves to indicate water, and I would have made the airplane icon into a cloud icon or kept as a plane.

It seems to me like you want to indicate what their travel on. road for cars, track for trains, so then shouldn't the boat have water and the airplane have air/clouds?

The reworked icons do look better indeed. I would add Dirkels suggestion of making the waterwat curvy like a river. But good work on your end :)

I like this and am sure to use it, May I just suggest you make the waterway a bit curvy and irregular like a river, and I would leave out the anchor looks to much like an arrow in the menu. Also I would make the numbers in the runway a bit bigger they just don't pop out in their current size.

I reworked pier and runway icons. Now all the icons have the same orientation and better portray their category.
