(This is just a rough and relatively quick sketch. It's unfinished, and contains no shading. So expect mistakes and the like.)
Also keep in mind that the color may seem a little off. This is due to the fact that I had to edit the brightness (lower) of the image, as the graphite was too hard to see from the scan.

It's been a while again, OVER A YEAR! For crying out loud, I really need to keep myself on track with these drawings. So recently I finished watching Darling in the Franxx for the third time, and was inspired to draw the Klaxosaur Princess, in some form.

I followed what I did in my last image from all the way back in March, 2019. Drawing a portrait style picture, as usual, but vertically, instead of horizontally on the page. I tried to find a nice pose of the Princess, and decided to draw vertically again so that I could fit more of her detail in the image. Her "crown" & horns for example. Were I to do the image horizontally, I probably wouldn't have been able to fit those in. I wanted to shade at least the dark/black parts of her character. Because it would have helped the image to pop. Unfortunately, I attempted to shade, but it just looked awful. I couldn't get the graphite to stay consistent at all. So I did my best to erase it, and left it unshaded in the end. I really don't know if I did her justice this way.

I can definitely say that the detail in this one doesn't live up to my previous image on Vanilla from Nekopara. But that's obvious for many reasons. They have two completely different designs. That being said, I am still relatively satisfied with this sketch overall. I plan to do more Rough/Unfinished (Unshaded) sketches in the near future, as I found this very fun to do.

The piece was done entirely with a 2H Pencil.

Sketch completed on May 28th, 2020."
