"My very first build. I sold my old Asus ROG G56JR laptop from college and saved up a bit more money from my part-time job to search for and buy components online, then built it all myself. All the parts were secondhand—nothing was brand new since I couldn’t afford it at the time. I didn’t care about messy cables back then, and it only had one stick of 8GB RAM, hahahaha. The only good thing for me, looking back, was the great deal I got on the graphics card and the big ATX case with excellent airflow, so it wasn’t choking on hot air inside. Every time I see this build, it reminds me that it was all worth it.
