TL;DR: https://i.imgur.com/ZKvW3Zv.png

Pros
  • High DPS (15m+ in 20 seconds)
  • High Survivability (45k+ HP and max all resists)
  • Easy skill rotation
  • Can get level 100 and all achievements in less than 24 hours

Cons
  • Can't beat Aurdon the Sealed Spirit without changing builds
Level 1 - 20
You can start with any build you want, but for the purpose of this guide, I went for Decay (Occultist talent) into Book of Dread to help get to the final build. Start going through all the bosses sequentially. The basic strategy is to keep Renew on your tank, keep Banish on the enemy, and utilize Lesser Heal, Radiant Heal, Dispel, Negate, and Rejuvenate as required. We'll make our way through the Occultist tree. Spend your mastery points on your talents as soon as you get them (mastery resets are really cheap). Picking up a Reactive Armor unique from Gump (Vault Entrance) on Brutal difficulty will help with the healing. Put on any equipment that gives you flat Healpower. Aim towards picking up 2 Book of Dreads from Despair (Soul Quarter) on Normal difficulty. After you get 2 Book of Dreads, switch out Lesser Heal for Shadow Ripple.

Level 21 - 45
Keep going through the bosses. The basic strategy is to keep Banish on the enemy while spamming Shadow Ripple (with 2 Book of Dreads equipped) on the character you wish to heal while utilizing Renew, Radiant Heal, Dispel, Negate, and Rejuvenate as required. Now we'll start working on the Druid tree just a little bit for more Healpower, then get into the Priest tree. Pick up any Chaos Crystals along the way and save them because you'll need all you can get. They are a great way to level quickly. Aim towards picking up Enigma unique from Norrix (Soul Quarter) on Normal difficulty. When you get Enigma, you can now cast Radiant Heal whenever you see the Enigma icon on the top left of your screen during battle (or after every Shadow Ripple if you wait half a second due to the cast time syncing with Enigma) to do even more damage. You can throw some cheap upgrades on your items if you need it, but don't dump too much into them since you will outgrow them soon. Make sure you're keeping up with your masteries since they will give you a lot of stats. This should get you into Bio Quarter.

Level 46 - Pre-Electric Purification
You should be able to rush through Bio Quarter despite what the recommended level says. Once you reach Atiel Blackshade, you can level off of her pretty easily. Clear whatever content you can in Bio Quarter, Outer Courtyard, and Inner Courtyard, then just go back to Atiel Blackshade to gain more levels if you are having trouble. Once you can defeat her on Insane difficulty (you can defeat her even at character level 50), you can try to feed Chaos Crystals to get even more experience points. Eventually, you will be fighting her at 5 Chaos Crystals to get high level quickly with little effort. Typically (but not always), the more Chaos Stones you feed, the more experience points each stone will be worth. Pick up the Body and Mind talent as soon as you can and swap out Renew with Holy Shield. Add Holy Shield to your Healer as part of your skill rotation for increased damage. At this point, we should start picking up the pieces of the Electric Purification (EP) build which consists of EP (non-divine version drops from Clara Forsakenmoon in Outer Courtyard), Thunder Torrent (drops from Droto Evergaze in Bio Quarter on Normal difficulty), and Zombification (drops from Chaos-fed Arney & Brney in Outer Courtyard). I would recommend leveling until you can take on Clara Forsakenmoon and just battle her until you get EP.

Post-Electric Purification - Pre-Guardian
Once you grab an EP from Clara Forsakenmoon, you can start transitioning the build. Reset your talents and masteries. Change out your Enigma for EP. Swap out Shadow Ripple and Radiant Heal for Smite and Spirit Ritual. Spirit Ritual is used with Botanist (Druid talent) to help shorten the cooldown on Rejuvenate. The basic strategy now is to constantly keep Banish and Smite on the enemy, alternate Holy Shield between the Healer and Ranger, and use Spirit Ritual, Dispel, Negate, and Rejuvenate as required. With EP, killing Chaos-fed Arney & Brney (for the Zombification drop) will be easier. Now would be the time to get and equip the Thunder Torrent if you haven't already. For the rest of your items, the offensive stats you want to focus on are +Thunder Assault skill on staves, +Body and Mind skill on accessory, Party Critical Strike Chance, Party Critical Strike Multiplier, Party Attack Speed, % Party Lightning Damage, and Healpower. The defensive stats you want to focus on are Party Physical Resist, Party Nemesis Resist, and Party Maximum Health. You should be able to get most of your elemental resistances through talents and masteries. Continue leveling and farming equipment. Once you are high enough level, you can clear the Dining Hall up to level 7 on all 3 heroes (Orra Hammerstone, Mevor Shadowguard, and Edwin Lightwarden) to unlock your wild equipment slot. Edwin is easy to beat since it's a damage challenge, but you will have to put on some healing skills to beat Orra and Mevor since they are heal challenges.

End Game
Before you take on Guardians' Cave and Pandemonic Depth, you will need to enhance your equipment. To optimize on your equipment, you should equip a Stone of Madness which will raise your item drop quality by up to +5 to get Quality 15 (Q15) equipment; running Midnight Zone will also grant an additional +2 for a total of Q17. When you can run Midnight Outer Courtyard with 1 Chaos Crystal, you should try to get a Q17 Stone of Madness with Physical and/or Nemesis Resist and a Q17 Zombification with Physical and/or Nemesis Resist. You can push these up to Q27 through crafting. Also pick up a Q15 Thunder Torrent from Droto Evergaze in Bio Quarter on Normal difficulty since you can't get Thunder Torrent from Midnight Zone. Try to get Epic/Rare/Uncommon items with 3 sockets if possible to add Amber on weapons and accessories. You should also look at all Uncommon staves that have 3 sockets and some key stats to create 2 Runeword staves - Decrepification (Pem Oui Nem) and Aubade (Ra Nem Bal). Decrepification will reduce enemies' resistance, dodge, and block by -10% (at 100% Aura Effect), and Aubade will boost your DPS by piggybacking of off your lightning damage. All bosses drop runes, but certain runes will only drop from certain level bosses (Ra will drop against level 90 bosses). When you feel confident, try to pick up the Divine version (as indicated by an icon on the top left of the item tooltip) of EP in Pandemonic Depth (Zone: The Abyss). It will be a random drop from enemies or chests.

Once you get good equipment, you can start investing in them through crafting. Augmentations will help a lot. For offense, go for Party Attack Speed, Party Critical Strike Chance, and Party Critical Strike Multiplier. You can swap out Party Attack Speed for Healer Critical Strike Chance to get 100% Healer Critical Strike Chance. Remember that Havoc Aura (Occultist talent) will give you 6% Critical Strike Chance (at 100% Aura Effect) and that is not shown in the Stats and Info page; if your Aura Effect is 175%, then that will give you +10.5% Critical Strike Chance that is not shown so you will only need 89.5% Critical Strike Chance on your Healer for 100% Critical Strike Chance. For defense, aim for getting max resistances which is soft-capped at 75% by default. You can try to go over the cap by 20% since some enemies will reduce your resistances. Remember that you will get +30% all resistances with Deception (Occultist talent) when above a health threshold. At level 100 and no items equipped, you will have 40% Physical Resist, 90.4% Fire Resist, 77.4% Ice Resist, 83.4% Lightning Resist, and 55.4% Nemesis Resist through talents and masteries alone.

Once you get close to fully upgrading all your equipment, this should be enough to get you through the rest of the game.

I'm testing the build for the Mini Healer 0.4 update. You'll need to make a few changes. The skill on the same line as Body and Mind will be replaced, for example.

Is it only me, or Thor is a somewhat decent alternative to the Decrepification Aura ?
