The northeastern quadrant of Thesia very quickly became known as 'The Hell Away From Hell'. During the early months of the Silanean Conflict, most of the Thesian assaults were focused on the western edges of the Virskaian border, with bloody conflicts like the Skirmish at Helsin and the Battle of Lochan giving the western front a particular infamy unique to their respective theatre. It was for this reason that the tiny farming village of Ărkelé rapidly filled up with Thesian conscripts and attempted draft-dodgers. It was seen as safe, as quiet as could be during an all-out war; and because of this assumption it only received basic defensive weaponry from the harshly-delegated supply chain that curled it's links through Thesia. The commander there grew complacent, the soldiers grew bored, and with news from the western front seeping in through scattered radio transmissions it seemed like Ărkelé was deemed unimportant by the Virskaians as a whole.

This was incorrect. The Virskaian 7th Motor Grenadiers Division, alongside the 184th Support Armor Battalion and the 891st Coordinated Supply Group had been given a directive straight from the mouth of the ever-expanding war machine; "Crush their will." With preliminary intelligence suggesting that the Thesian 16th Infantry Division and 22nd Home Guards stationed in Ărkelé were already war-weary, the Virskaian task force quickly and efficiently captured a private airfield close enough to the town to allow for strategic strikes to be made by the 41st Combat Air Wing. This sudden and unprecedented assault by Virskaian troops effectively shook the Thesians out of their complacent slumber and spurred them into kicking the town's defenses into high gear. Not looking for a stand off, the Virskaian army is pushing over the ridgeline and demanding the surrender of the Thesian soldiers and militiamen.

This battle will need heroes on both sides, but only one can emerge victorious.

This is my very first unity map! I think it came out quite well. I've been mapping for Source Engine games (GMod, Half-Life 2 etc.) for about 5 years now, i'm really excited about mapping for this wonderful game, and i'm extremely proud of be a part of this project!
