While searching and tidying up my old collections during the lockdown, I came across my Dragon ball Z and other card collections, I really have a lot of them, especially shiny cards! Who didn't have that in the 90s? And when I saw my old collections, I immediately thought of the prism on the back of the foil cards.



It then came to me the idea of reproducing this effect on Counter-Strike. Moreover, with the latest feature from the CSGO team, the "pearlescent" effect, I immediately thought that it could help me to create a design that remind us this effect and our childhood.

I created a vector pattern with the gradient cone effect in the square. I then highlighted this square with a gray/bi-color effect. I accentuated the contrasts and created a pattern.

I applied it with primary color values so that it gives a better effect in the game.

The Airbrush effect accentuates this effect and it really feels like the effect of the cards but on the weapons in the CSGO game. Moreover the deteriotation also allows to remind the effect of wear on the cards. Combined with the stickers of the game, this will put more emphasis on the stickers but also the Shiny Prism effect. Thanks to this collections, we have a nostalgic feeling because it reminds us of the trading cards of the 90s. A return to childhood!

I am now working on other skins with this effect, but with characters on it, probably on a Famas!
