It also has pretty unique worldbuilding and you also spend most of your time helping the people you meet. No violence as part of gameplay, although you play as a retired hero who had battles in her past. (Depending on how your dialogue choices, you can question the "hero" part over time because some people you meet have a different opinion on that). Characters have different races like in Eastshade, but in Pendula Swing it significantly changes their experiences in the world and thus informs their dialogue.
No cute painting mechanism like Easthade has, but the soundtrack is pretty dope.
Adventure (×128 — common general tag tho ), Exploration* (×103), First-Person* (×80), Puzzle (×67), Open World* (×44), Family Friendly (×43), Third-Person (×38), Point & Click (×21), Platformer (×20), Hidden Object (×6), Walking Simulator* (×3).
Miscellaneous (11): Action, Investigation, Life Sim, Management, Multiplayer, Nonlinear, Procedural Generation, Puzzle-platformer, Side Scroller, Simulation, Top-Down
(One of those — Multiplayer — is no longer accurate since Islands of Insight became a singleplayer game as of late October last year.)
*Is a prominent tag for Eastshade
My conclusion: a lot of puzzle and cozy-type games could well be added to this list!
This is a new game that 2 people developed , I read in the reviews that it took 8 years to create. Check it out :) Not sure if my link will work, the name is in it though. The End of the Sun.

There is also the Novelist, which is a chill game but not exploration heavy, I think it remotely kinda resembles Eastshade though
