Since most guides are in video format, here's one for the more text inclined players.

• Pick up the Flashlight
  
• Examine the note on the wall and the wallet on the bed
  
• Click on the spinning top to unlock the Is it a dream? achievement
  
• Exit left
  
• Examine the note on the floor and the bulletin board.
  
• Enter the right hallway.
  
• Pick up the page on the ground.
  
• Continue to the end of the hallway for a jumpscare.
  
• Return to the stairwell, and go downstairs.
  
• Enter the toilets.
  
• Enter the first stall and examine the trash can for a note.
  
• Enter the second stall, check the trash can for a card key, and you will be warped back to your room.

• Go back to the stairwell and go downstairs.
  
• Enter the room on the left to go to the locker room.
  
• Click on the right set of lockers to go to a wall of lockers.
  
• There are three clickable lockers here - two open and have notes. The third requires a code which we will come back to.
  
• Leave the wall of lockers via the left side of the screen.
  
• Click on the back area of the locker room.
  
• Open two lockers on the right side - one has a note, the other has a screwdriver.
  
• Return to the bottom of the stairwell.
  
• Use the screwdriver on the fuse box. From this point, you'll need to click on the flashlight first to navigate/examine items.
  
• Go upstairs, and examine the bulletin board for the code 0712. The code won't work without looking at it here first.
  
• Return to the locker room and open the locked locker with the code. Click on the knob at the top after you enter the code to open it.
  
• Inside the locker is a mirror. Take it.

• Go to the bathroom and click on the wall mirror.
  
• Use your hand mirror on the mirror.
  
• Examine the note in the bottom right of the mirror.
  
• Enter the fourth stall and examine the toilet for a note, this unlocks the door as well.
  
• Leave the bathroom and go to the locker room.
  
• Go to the wall of lockers and use the card key to open one of the lockers.
  
• Grab the Cutter Knife inside.
  
• Go to the back area of lockers.
  
• Use the book page on the book in the stack to the right of the door to get a Book.
  
• Examine two lockers to the left of the door for Matches and another note.
  
• Leave the locker room and go upstairs.
  
• Examine the bulletin board.
  
• Go back downstairs, enter the bathroom, and use your mirror on the wall mirror.
  
• Leave the bathroom and go upstairs.
  
• Enter the side hallway.
  
• Use the book on the bookshelf, then enter the door that appears.
  
• Grab the hammer on the left and examine the note on the wall.
  
• Use the Cutter Knife on the picture.
  
• Take the eye that appears in front of the picture.
  
• Quickly leave the room, leave the hallway, go downstairs, and enter the locker.

• Enter the locker room and go to the back area.
  
• Use the hammer on the door handle.
  
• Go back to the bathroom and use your mirror on the wall mirror again.
  
• Use the door handle on the second bathroom stall and go in.
  
• Examine the toilet.
  
• Do the mirror warp again, go into the second stall, and examine the toilet for a key.
  
• Leave the bathroom and go upstairs.
  
• Enter the side hallway.
  
• Use the key on the second door on the left.
  
• Use the cutter knife on the coffee beans on the shelf.
  
• Grab the tape in the upper right corner of the room.
  
• Leave the room and return to the hallway.
  
• Use the eye on the left door.
  
• Grab the pot on the floor and examine the note on the bed.
  
• Leave the room, return to the bathroom, and mirror warp.
  
• Leave the bathroom and go upstairs.
  
• Enter the side hallway.
  
• Enter the second area on the right.
  
• You can turn on the radio if you want.
  
• Use the tape on the bloody handprint.
  
• Return to the hallway.

• Use the bloody print on the door on the left.
  
• Pick up the cup.
  
• Leave the room, go back to the bathroom, and mirror warp.
  
• While still facing the mirror in the "real" world, use the cup on the left sink to fill it with water.
  
• Mirror warp again.
  
• Leave the bathroom, go upstairs, enter the side hallway.
  
• Enter the first door on the right.
  
• Use the fuse on the top lamp.
  
• Use the pot on the bed (the outline appears when you mouse over it).
  
• Use the coffee bean on the pot.
  
• Use the cup of water on the pot.
  
• Take the plant.
  
• Use the knife on the picture that appears, then the match.
  
• Examine the picture.
  
• Leave the room, enter the first door on the left.
  
• Same as before - knife the picture, burn it, examine it.
  
• Leave the room and go downstairs to find the final picture.
  
• Knife, burn, examine.
  
• Go all the way upstairs and use the pill on the bed. This unlocks the Dream in a dream achievement.

This part of the game is a bit different. You will have a map in the top left corner and have a choice of objectives. A ghost will also wander around the area - you will know it's coming if you hear footsteps and any lit candles start flickering. If this happens, use your map to go to the nearest locker and hide there until the sounds are gone. Alternately, let yourself get caught (from wandering around after this happens) for an achievement and you will just reset from this part of the game.

• Examine the note on the wall.
  
• Pick up the map and matches.
  
• You can use your matches on the candle on each "square" of the maze to help track your progress and determine if the ghost is coming.
  
• The exit for the normal ending is in the top left of the area - just keep heading up and left until you see the green exit sign on your map. Be sure to double back and hide in lockers when necessary.

• For the true ending, you need to gather three items and enter a door. Here are the instructions for each one.
  
• For the key: Go left, left, left, up, up. Hide in the locker here as the ghost will have spawned, and grab the key on the floor.
  
• For the picture, starting from the key spot: right, right, up, left, up, up, up. This spawns the ghost again so go down twice and hide in the locker.
  
• For the wood, assuming you hid in the locker I just told you to: up, up, right, right, down, right, down, right, right, up, up.
  
• To get to the door, from the wood: down, down, left, left, down (if the ghost appears, go up, hide, then go back down), down, right, down, down, right, up (hide), up.
  
• Use the key on the door, then go in.
  
• Use the matches on the candle.
  
• Use the picture to the right of the candle.
  
• Use the wood on top of the pile of rocks.
  
• Click on the rocks.

You'll continue to this point if you got all the items and prayed at the monument in Episode 2.

• Go downstairs.
  
• Pick up the ID card on the floor.
  
• Go to the locker room.
  
• Click the lockers on the right to go to the wall of lockers.
  
• One of the lockers in the third column has a note - read it.
  
• Go back to the main locker area.
  
• Go to the back of the locker room.
  
• Open a locker on the right side for another note.
  
• Click on the door's scanner to unlock it, then go through the door.
  
• Go through the right door into the morgue.
  
• Open the door in the second row, second column to find another note.
  
• Leave the morgue via the bottom of the room.
  
• In the hallway, click at the end of the hallway to advance.
  
• In the dark room, click at the bottom of the screen to go to a new room.
  
• Keep clicking the generator until the room lights up.
  
• There are three boxes on the left - click the one on the bottom to find the final note.
  
• Leave the room, and now that the power is on, go to the room at the end of the hallway.
  
• Go to the room on the right.
  
• Click the paper on the left side of the room to write a letter.
  
• Click the envelope at the foot of the bed.
  
• Click on the ringing phone.

• Grab the lockpick in the back left corner of the room, then read the note in the bottom left corner.
  
• Click the bottom of the room twice to unlock the door and exit.
  
• Read the note on the ground, then click the door on the left.
  
• Go into the bathroom.
  
• Click on the mirror, then click on the left sink to turn it off.
  
• Leave the bathroom.
  
• Go to the locker room.
  
• Click in the back area of the locker room.
  
• Open one of the upper lockers on the right side and grab the matches.
  
• Leave the locker room.
  
• Go back up the stairs.
  
• Go down the hallway on the right.
  
• Go into the left room.
  
• Click the crying girl.
  
• Leave the room.
  
• Go down the hallway.
  
• Enter the room on the left.
  
• Click the gas tanks twice.

• Grab the backpack on the floor.
  
• Click the laptop, then click the mailing app to read your mail.
  
• Click the red dot in the upper left corner to go back, then click the map icon.
  
• Click the red location marker.
  
• Click the bottom of the room to leave it.
  
• Click the bottom left of the hallway to go to a room with paintings.
  
• Head to the bottom right of this room to go to another room.
  
• Examine the note on the dresser, the painting on the right, and the note below the painting.
  
• Open the top right drawer on the dresser to get a flashlight.
  
• Click the door to go back to the painting room, then click on the safe.
  
• Click the right arrow to go clockwise until you reach 6 and the first lock opens.
  
• Click the left arrow to go counter-clockwise until you reach 17 and the second lock opens.
  
• Click the right arrow and go clockwise until you hit 3 to unlock the safe.
  
• Grab the pendant from the safe, then leave the room via the bottom.
  
• From the hallway, click on the back right room to go to the library.
  
• Turn the lightswitch on the right off to see numbers on the books.
  
• Click the lock on the cabinet, and press the buttons for 1 & 4, then press the button on the bottom of the lock.
  
• Open the cabinet and get the camera.
  
• Leave through the door to get back to the hallway.
  
• Click on the steps to the right.
  
• Click on the front door.

• Leave the train station from the bottom left.
  
• Continue down the road via the top left.
  
• Head left at the next junction.
  
• In the town, click on the old man to talk to him.
  
• Click at the end of the road to go to a shop.
  
• At the bottom right next to the cat, grab the coin. Click the cat too!
  
• Go all the way back to the train station.
  
• Click the vending machine for a drink.
  
• Go back to the old man in the town and talk to him.
  
• Head down to the store where you got the coin, and click on the entrance to go inside.
  
• Take the flowers on the top left.
  
• Leave all the way back to the field with a scarecrow in it (first area after leaving the train station).
  
• Click the scarecrow, then pick up the key.
  
• Head north to return to the bicycle.
  
• Click the bike twice.
  
• Click the bridge in the middle of the screen to continue onward.
  
• Click the end of the road ahead to proceed.
  
• Click to the right of the gravestone to place the flowers.
  
• Click on the gravestone.

Be sure to let the credits go all the way through for an achievement.
