Solving problem with survival terrain assets on creative map
Av Pip Cryt
Hello, you probably tried to place a tile with buildings from survival mode, but they were not displayed in the map editor and after saving the map in the game itself.

I solved this problem by adding a couple of lines to the files that are located in the game directory. Namely assetsets.json and clutter.json

Downloading and copying files
Below is a link to these two files, all you need to do is download the archive and place these two files in the following directory: (E: or C: disk)\Steam\steamapps\common\Scrap Mechanic\Data\Terrain\Database with the replacement of previous ones.
To check if it works just copy tiles from one of the following folders located along the path: "Scrap Mechanic\Survival\Terrain\Tiles" (For example, copy ALL files from folder named "poi")
To the "Scrap Mechanic\Data\Terrain\Tiles" path. After that, you can place these tiles in the world editor.

Here a my result:

And yes. Note that the tile editor itself has such nonsense that the icons of survival terrain assets are not drawn, so the guide says that you need to copy ready-made tiles from one directory to another!

The water itself is there. But you can't swim in it. There you need to place separate nodes for water, but how to do this know only developers.

does this work with water? does the water actually work in creative and the tile editor?

Now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure Durf made a retexturing tutorial.

I changed the texture the way I like it. It's actually pretty cool, try it. I can teach you.
