Hello everyone. I have a big news for you! Now you can play on your big screen without any tools.
Just download this file [drive.google.com] & change the resolution you want! By default it is already using 1920x1080 for 16:9. Enjoy! !!IMPORTANT!! RESOLUTION CHANGE IN CONFIG, DON'T TOUCH IT IN GAME!
Path for installation is here => steam/steamapps/common/Jedi Academy/Game Data/Base !

After a while you might start getting a game crash when creating multiplayer matches (loading the map) because of using widescreen resolution in-game.

You can easily fix it by this modified jamp.exe some guy made from the opened source: http://sourceforge.net/projects/skewbone.u/files/jamp-widescreen-fix.zip/download

[UPD] 02.09.2021

Hit "~" right under the ESC button.

Insert next commands, 1 by 1.

r_mode -1
r_customheight 1080
r_customwidth 1920
vid_restart

You can replace r_customheight, r_customwidth - value with whatever value your monitor supports.

If something doesn't work - please find support on this forum, there might be already enhanced mods for your needs. Since the time flies by and I can die anytime by ruzzian rocket I won't be able to upload the needed files on time.

Всім гарного дня вільному народу України та незламним людям. У мене для вас гарна новина! Ви можете грати в свою улюблену гру якій вже понад 20 років на різних моніторах сучасності! файл [drive.google.com] вам потрібно буде замінити значення в файлі на той розмір екрану який підтримує ваш монітор. В самій грі не треба чіпати налаштування розміру екрана, там є лише старі розміри тих часів. Шлях інсталювання файлу => steam/steamapps/common/Jedi Academy/Game Data/Base !

Нажміть "~" одразу під кнопкою Escape.

Вставляйте команди одна за одною.

Значення r_customheight, r_customwidth - це значення розміру який ви хочете вручну задати якщо ви цього не зробили в файлі перед запуском гри.

Yeah for those that are trying to record this game you will be better off playing it on older PC set ups like mine. HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF released in 2010 its an Office PC i5-2400, 16GB DDR3 ram, GT-1030 GDDR5 ZOTAC Three SSDs SATA and one NVMe to PCIe M.2 in my x4 slot.

These specs I am able to record and play games fine such as original quake up to specific 2024-2025 titles that I enjoy and not simply what the masses all consume because I simply cant due to how old all my tech is down sides of being poor and debt in America hate it. . . :SherylScream:

Most likely a glitch, could be a problem with incompatible record software you have. Just remember that this is 2003 game. :)

I did this today, to attempt to record a series on the game, but when I get to the cutscene in the temple after the opening segment (after the first bit of gameplay) the cutscene just... doesnt play. It sits on the first frame of the game. Is this potentially a problem with the changed resolution? Or a glitch within my own game?

Yeah, that's an issue since 2017. Guy whom created it seems to removed it, no idea why and it's not stored on the internet by anyone.

Try searching alternative on jkhub com in browser.
