Downloading The Program

There are many mod installer programs you can use for Beat Saber, but the one I would highly suggest is BSManager, it is the best rated and is updated regularly. When a new version of Beat Saber comes out, the program automatically detects it and changes it to the latest version.

The download to BSManager can be found here:

Setting Up The Program

The installation is simple, all you need to do is download the installer exe from the Github link above and run it. Once open, select which version of Beat Saber you're using and click the download button.

Then select which platform you're on.

Once you select what platform you're using you will need to follow the instructions to log into your account.

Once you have logged into the platform you've chosen you will see the version on the left side, click on it to access it

Installing Mods

The next thing to do is to install the mods to allow you to play the custom songs as well as additonal mods you may want.

Click on "Mods" at the top right, if this is your first time downloading the program you will not have the default mods so it will prompt you to download them and auto download them for you, so just click "Install or update" at the bottom right.

You're also free to go through all of the mods list and add any additional mods that you may want.

Installing Maps/Songs

Installing maps is very simple. To do so click on maps at the top and the click add.

You can then see a list of songs and can search for any one you want.

To download a song you want, hover over it and click the little download icon to download the song. The song will then proceed to download.

You will then see a list of your downloaded songs.

Alternatively, you can download songs from https://beatsaver.com/

To play the songs just launch Beat Saber as normal and you will be able to play the downloaded songs in the game.

Can you trust this program?

So many people may be a bit sceptical of logging into their Steam account in the program, I can assure you that this program is safe and trusted.

Here is a few reasons why you should trust this program -

It's opensource and you can view the source code of the program here[github.com].
The program is quite popular and used by many other users as you can see by the amount of stars the Github repo has and by the amount of issues/bugs people have been reporting and the amount of commits that the repo has.
If you really wanted and are quite technical in programming you can compile the program yourself from the source code.
I've personally used this program myself and have not experienced any sort of issues.

for anyone wondering about the steam credentials:
You don't have to download another version of the game if it's already installed via steam which means you won't need to insert credentials, however for me the mods din't work in v1.40.8 so I had to download 1.40.3, the program will then use your credentials to download the necessary depot from Steam.
If you don't trust BSManager you can download a depot through depotdownloader (https://github.com/SteamRE/DepotDownloader) which is a highly reputable utility to download older versions of Steam games, however supposedly BSManager uses a bundled version of Depotdownloader to download the game anyway

Hello, I followed all of the steps but after clicking on launch my installed version, BeatSaber loads and shows a screen that says that OpenXR runtime is not installed. How can I fix that? BeatSaber works perfectly fine when I launch it from Steam

I'm having a problem where bsmanager won't donwload any versions. I put in my credentials and then my steam guard that i made. I then see 2 beatsaber blocks going around eachother indicating that it's loading? left it like that for over an hour and nothing happened.
