Report a translation problem
1. Ally: any / Arise (or Phoenix Down)
2. Ally: HP < 50% / Curaja
3. Ally: any / Esunaga (for those who can use it)
4. Foe: HP = 100% / Steal (for those who can use it)
5. Foe: lowest HP / Attack
This setup is pretty standard and will cover about 80-90% of all encounters in the entire game. If you need Bubble, Haste, Protect, and/or Shell, just set up gambits for those between Esunaga and Steal/Attack gambits. Keep it simple, son.
Look, Josh. This is a decent guide. But I've found it sufficient to just have one gambit for standard attack tied to Foe: Lowest HP. That way it ensures everyone will attack the same enemy. Helps a lot in boss fights with lots of adds...the group takes out the small fry quickly so they don't screw up your flow against the big guys.
