If you tried everything to optimize the frame drops but they are still there AND you have a huge blocked user list, this WILL help you.

1. Go to: your steam profile /friends/blocked
2. Unblock all blocked Steam-Profiles

I had over 1700 blocked, so I don't exactly know where the threshold is. If you have persons that you 100% want to keep blocked let them blocked as this method helps people with a huge blocked list.

(Another method to get rid of the frame drops is to start Steam in Offline Mode BUT YOU WONT GET ACHIEVEMENTS, so it really is only the last workaround.)




Why this works
The (poorly coded) anticheat in the game checks for logged in Users in your session and blocks the ones on your blocked list. Since the list is too long the timer overflows and we experience a frame drop. Unblocking the profiles lets the anticheat work as intended and the timer will not overflow.
--> NO MORE FRAME DROPS
