How to fix the game

Go into your game files (steamapps/common/PAYDAY 2/) and delete WSOCK32.dll or IPHLPAPI.dll.

Why do I need to delete this file?

These are mod loading files and are the current cause of the game not launching. This is not a problem with OVERKILL's game, this is something that needs to be fixed on the behalf of SuperBLT, so please stop screeching at the game's developers.

you may also have to re download a c++ redistributables package from microsoft, its free just be sure to get both the x64 and x86 ones, my game would not launch after re installing and this fixed it.
