Always struggled to find that ore you needed? Well, no more! With the Ore Prospecting Tools you will be able to scribe yourself a map that will point you to a specific ore vein!

Hooked up into smelting research trees, these tools are survival ready. :-)

*Note*
This is one of the internal prototypes from Medieval Engineers that almost made it into Vanilla, but due to time constraints was never finished. I didn't write any new code, I merely activated the dormant functionality and exposed them as hand items. Any bugs within the behavior, while still my fault, technically, as I wrote the code back in 2018, I cannot fix without source code access to the base game.

I want to echo Drizzt's sentiments! Thank you Deepflame, and for that matter... thank you to all the modders who worked so hard to make this game better. It is genuinely appreciated!

works great in C.E. - essential mod - especially for letting you know that there is no iron in the area so you don't waste hours (or days) searching for it

thanks for everything Deepflame - i am glad that i am finally able to appreciate all of the incredible work that you did on this game - you made something amazing - and i wish you had been allowed to complete your work - thank you

the reserch should realy be with Drafting Table if you need that

So basically, this was almost in the game, until Marek cancelled development to focus on the SE team?

That's honestly sad, I'm sure there's a lot of other stuff that was close to being in the game, but just never made it because Marek deemed ME a project that wasn't worth the investment.
