Simple optimization (Borderlands 3)
By Guydodge
a very simple guide.these are the settings i came up with in an
attemp to stabilize the game.w/decent FPS with as little visual loss as possible.
as we all know the BL series is a
very GPU intense series.if your still seeing alot of stuttering
turn environmental, shadows and draw distance down 1.for low end
systems turn off anisotropic filtering as well.good luck

+1 on player's comment about volumetric fog. Turning that off helped me with frames and my issue of input delay.

I run the game on Badass settting. DX12, I7-6700k, 32GB ram, GTX-980ti. I get 59~75fps good enough for me... the secret is, . 1080p. 4k is nice, but it is just not needed. I can only imagine what kind of frame rates I could get with a RTX-2070 @1080p.

This MAY not help everyone. The best thing to do, is just experiment with the settings until you come up with a satisfactory result. You have an in-game benchmark to test.
