You do not need to walk back and forth, but touch the notes that fly out from the fact that you walk.

Thank you, it was helpful for when I hit a rough patch.

Can you explain "lingered tune" achievement? I see I need to walk the keyboard road for 25 steps.

There are way more than 25 keys on that path so it seems it should be easy to obtain but I have walked back and forth many times. I even tried to walk on one key twenty five times but no luck.
