I also had trouble finding the Pillar Worms! Still haven't found the last one.

That last Pillar Worm was annoying to find. There's very few of them in the game, the exact number you need to unlock the taxonomy in fact.

Where can you find the one Sectiotinea species, a worm-like creature?

If you head from the central reef waystation and head back towards where you start the game, there should be a strong current along that path. Use your propulsion to follow the path and you should find it at the end :)

I can't find the reef cap tisue. Do you know how to find it?

Pillar worms are found in the Pillar Gardens, where they sometimes flee from a vector when you get close. They also make a sound, you can't miss 'em. You need to be ready to scan them, but you can follow them to some extent if you do miss the scan and attempt again.

Late to the party but I can't find the pillar worm anywhere

I seem to be missing only the bloom vane. I need a stem sample, but my map doesn't have any sample requests anymore and all my collected samples are crossed out... Where can I find this sample?
