Continuing our Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Beginner's Guide series, we are taking a look at the Soviet Sputnik: Sputniks are base expansion vehicles built from War Factory and Naval Yard. They stink. Their special ability is to unpack into an outpost that grants you build radius nearby.

For Kirov's strategy, you can combo them with Twin Blades to carry them across terrains and get them to ore nodes quickly so you can deploy a refinery faster. Otherwise, just move your MCV to expand. It's way faster, cheaper, safer, and better.

Stay tuned as we go through the basic information, functions, unit interactions, and tips & tricks of each individual unit in the game and discuss the tactics / strategies you can pull off with them.
