So a "-2 upwind compared" would be due to the 'base' penalty & then the bonuses are tallied from there leading to the higher amounts
That makes more sense, thanks!
Wondering if I should go Drekkar for trade runs, or just stick with Frigate & smaller crew so I can waste less cargo on storing food for far more trade goods?
Why don't the numbers seem to add up to the bonuses each ship has for up/down'wind?
Take the Full-rigged ship has: "downwind +2, upwind +0"
Which would be a difference of '2', not '4', right?
Same with the Windjammer: "downwind +5, upwind +2"
Which seeing upwind vs downwind is opposing directions, not just simple subtraction, it should be a difference of '7', right?
Could anyone explain plz?
Is it maybe taking into account the base movement as a factor or something?
Thought the movement was just number of tiles you can move in battle, with the up/down'wind being the overworld speed?
One quick correct The Blackwing Galleass only has 4 cannon slots.
And two quick changes from the most recent update. The Full-rigged and Iron Clad now both have +2 downwind
