Adds 16 helms as augments.

Don Thy Helmet Needed
All credits to PaulyD, PaulImposteur on Discord, for his impressive draws of ancient and medieval helms, thanks a lot man!

Toggle Helm Visibility
You can toggle the image on/off in overland map. Helms are not visible with a Theme head (ex: wolf head). Characters put their helms on/off automatically in combat (and after combat helm will go off visually after 1 day in overland if you have it toggled off).

Big Heads vs Smaller Helmets
I have modified some helms to fit better with dif classes and women heads with the inevitable consequence that some big heads don't fit in some helms.
Change the head when pertinent or remove my helm images from my mod inside: "assets/figures/images/human/misc" (leave the ImperialBack2 because it's a new helm created by me using PaulyD draws).

Hood with magical properties imbued in it.

MAGICAL MASK
ONE RANDOM MAGICAL BONUS
Mask with magical properties imbued in it.

CHAINMAIL HELM
ARMOR: 0.5
RANGE PENALTY: -5
Chainmail helm, impedes some vision but offers protection.

SALLET HELM
ARMOR: 0.5
RANGE PENALTY: -5
Sallet helm, impedes some vision but offers protection.

NASAL HELM
ARMOR: 0.7
RANGE PENALTY: -10
Nasal helm, impedes vision but offers good protection.

WAR HAT

Pit-fighter helm used in some despicable cities that allow that kind of barbarie, impedes vision but offers good protection.

TENACITY: 5

The officer helm impedes vision but offers good protection and some status and self-confidence.

ORNAMENTED HELM

The horned helm impedes vision but offers good protection and self-confidence.

Full enclosed helm, obstructs vision but offers very good protection.

Full metal helm, obstructs vision but offers very good protection.

Valkyrie helm used by women barbarian warriors from ancient times. Very valuable.

if anyone is in need for a fix for the bug where the game reverts your load order you can change it manual in the mod file, for example "don the helms" and "expanded items: helms", you can go to--
"steamapps\workshop\content\763890\2045450890" and inside the "mod.json" add
"loadOrder": 100910, and that should put "don the helms" below "expanded items: helms"

i am trying to preempt the bug Tengo mentioned, but anytime i try to change the load order of the mods, they revert. Anyone know how to fix that?

Funny enough it made my characters bald whenever I equipped them. But the character was only bald during battles and related cutscenes. And in overworld view he had his hair back. lol.

@Gibb Pebblesmasher This is a simple fix, but I sympathize with you. I've poured hundreds of hours in this game with this mod and had your exact question for all of it. It is very confusing, but it's shockingly simple.

Click options in the menu, then go to mods. Navigate for the item
"Expanded Items: Helms"

Now all you have to do is place it one slot above Don Thy Helmet.

And that's it. Its position in the modding load order was simply being overwritten by the much older Don Thy Helmet which was last updated in 2021. Hope that helps!!

So, i have this mod, the armor one you made, Don Thy Helmet, and Knights starter pack. How exactly do they work, and why do i have a Misc. box when making a character that has two identical masks and a strange helmet? And to top it off, when i equip one on a character, i can't remove it. Am i doing something wrong?

Helms are invisible for me, and make the characters bald. Only mods I have running are the rest of yours, except races.

Helms only show if you have an human head. I will take a look, weird 2 reports of visual transparency. Thx.
