Report a translation problem
Simply join a favtion as a merc. That way you get around 10 points in relation, which opens 2-3 slots per Person in settlements and thus makes it possible to get more recruits. I had settlements which gave me up to 3 Vlandian Knights today.
After farming some time in one territory I simply legt the Kingdom, which has realy no effect as mercenary, and joined another one as mercenary.
Cool thing is, even conquered settlements have the incresed relation. My Knights e.g. were recruited while I was farming for battanians.
A good idea would be, to join a favtion with a lot of conquered ground, to get a mix of noble troops.
@bond, just gwt rid of the cheap ones. Open Party and add them tk the left side, click done, Profit.
And then what do you do with those non-noble soldiers? You give them to some castle's garrison?
