Homusubi's Japan (Tokugawa Yoshimune)

Descrição
Tokugawa Ieyasu has something of a monopoly when it comes to fame and recognition amongst the fifteen Tokugawa clan members who ruled Japan. Although admirable for his political ability and sheer patience, Ieyasu has ended up criminally overshadowing other rulers, arguably more significant. There was Iemitsu, the third in the dynasty, who instituted the famous sakoku policies that all but closed Japan off from the outside world for two centuries, saving it from colonisation in the process. There was Tsunayoshi, the fifth, an eccentric Buddhist who ruled over one of Japan's cultural golden ages, when kabuki, haiku, and ukiyo painting blossomed like never before. And then there was Yoshimune, the eighth, who arguably saved the country from economic oblivion and loosened enough import restrictions to kickstart the impossibly complex business of Rangaku or Dutch Studies, Japan's way of learning about the outside world by means of one tiny artificial island off Nagasaki...

JAPAN - TOKUGAWA YOSHIMUNE

UA - KYOHO AUTARKY
Your Trade Routes to cities which have a Luxury Resource not present near your empire have a small chance each turn of spawning a copy of that resource in the origin city.

UU - RANGAKUSHA
Replaces the Great Scientist. When activated in a city with a Trade Route to a technologically advanced civ, automatically discover one of its techs that you do not already have.

UB - KOMEKAISHO
Replaces the Bank. Does not provide any base Gold yields or modifiers. When built in a city other than the Capital, provides Gold equal to 2 raised to the power of the number of domestic Trade Routes going into the city, and Science equal to a quarter of that amount.

I'd be surprised if some of those weren't already being worked on (Bangladesh and Fiji come to mind; Uganda is half-already there as Buganda). Either way thanks for telling me but I still have too much to do from my own list, so I can't take requests...

My ideas include: modern Thailand, Cambodia, modern Malaysia, Bangladesh,Turkmenistan, Uganda and Fiji.

Thanks! Always happy to hear new ideas although it's very unlikely I'll actually make them, I have a hard enough time keeping on top of my own plans haha
