Shockingly Humane

Don’t electrocute the pupil

Instead of electrocuting the pupil to make them change their answer, submit a new question instead. This may take a while. You can resubmit the same question and often get a different answer

Shockingly Inhumane

Electrocute the pupil, a lot

Around 50 or so will do it. You can just spam the button repeatedly, no need to wait

Don’t poke the eyes

When collecting the final tape, cross the room without stepping into the "spotlights" cast by the eyes. If you mess up, go back to the right and try again

Clueless II

Enter numbers you shouldn’t know

Enter the mirror number [7997], the telephone number [86763454] and the TV code into the yellow robot [264379851] without running the tap, scribbling the pad or watching the tapes [nb you still have to load them into the TV, but don't watch them]

Story-related. Can't be missed. Activates when you reach the brain with your clone

Free The Sleeper

Petite feet

Don’t trigger a single step plate error

Activate the sleeper without having messed up ANY of the tile puzzles in Gateway III

There Can Be Only Two

Exact The Sleeper's revenge

Crush the shift worker between yourself and your duplicate. Keep clicking on the floor next to him

There Can Be Only Three

Spare the shift worker

Don't crush the shift worker between yourself and your duplicate. Unlocks when you leave the dock

Making Friends

Offer a gift to the shift worker

(Need to do Pyloric Problems first) Before making your clone, return to the bowel and get an extra cube. Travel up the spine, then give it to the shift worker. The procurement of the fifth cube seems a little glitchy. (With thanks to Carl Andre)

Complete Gateway III on normal difficulty

Find the secret ending

(Need to do Pyloric Problems first) Take your spare cube to the brain and place it on the 'secret tile'. Then, complete the game as normal

Making Friends: You need to force the game into an unwinnable state as far as the cubes are concerned. If the game detects you're in an unwinnable state, it'll drop the fifth cube to help you out. But the actions you need to take are pretty specific. Don't expect the fifth cube to drop just because you wanted it to.

I can't do Making Friends. After doing Pyloric Problems, and BEFORE making the clone, I go to the bowel but I literally can't find the fifth cube. I tried a lot of times, but there is NO way for that cube to appear! I cross the entire bowel but there is really no sign of it, believe me. How can I do?

@ Vince Infinity, Trying over and over again killed my energy so much that I didn't even continue after Making Friends at first. Fortunately there is no other achievement left..

@ Carl Andre Ah. As it happens, I had *not* done that. Thanks, that unlocked the achievement for me; Making Friends just requires you use the cube on the green guy, That's Classified means you have to put it on the little square. I'd remembered to do one, not the other.

@Vince Inifinity Both Essen and Carl Andre said that's how they got it...it's possible there's another step that they both happened to do unknowingly...

Are you sure that's how to get 'That's Classified'? I finished the game after getting the 'Making Friends' achievement and didn't get it, even after I played through the whole chapter again.

For Petite Feet all you need to avoid is the "error" sound and the puzzle shutting down. You can walk across the room to solve it from the other side. You just can't go back on a tile you walked on, can't walk on the "bad" tile that you must walk on last, and can't walk in diagonal. So just need to be careful.

It's only for puzzles with those tiles, but all of them including the spine. You'll get the achievement after you exit the spine, in the brain.
