You can't. The most recent update brought back the bug that prevents people from earning gold and XP. There is no currently known fix, the Devs have admitted they're in no rush to fix this, and they do not intend to reimburse people for the gold and XP lost, or the time lost playing this mistake of a game whose only saving grace was character customization and gains. And now that is gone.
