High Speed Trains is a very basic train simulation game in which you drive from station to station picking and dropping passengers. In this guide we will provide some info about the achievements and how to unlock them.





Every level in the game gets longer, from just a few minutes early on to many minutes later.
Try to not miss any stations early on, Always stop and check tickets to earn money quickly.
The game is buggy, and sometimes not all passengers will get inside the train. If you see that a few people are still not inside and it takes too long just close the door and keep driving.

-As the game begins open the doors by clicking on the icon or pressing D.
-Wait until all the passengers get inside the train and close the doors.
-Now accelerate all the way to the highest speed and press C.
-This will put you in first person perspective role of a ticket checker, walk around the train and check all tickets.



While at the same time keep track of the speed you are going at and how far the next train station is.
You can move between the wagons by clicking on the doors.

-Try to not allow the first train to hit 149mph, if it gets close to that. switch back to the train controls and slightly lower the speed. You will always have to check 5 tickets every train stop, unless not all passengers get on the train.

-When you approach a train station start lowering the speed of the train and completely stop when you see this on the screen:
-Try to stop when the arrow is in the green section for a perfect stop.



-Open the doors and allow passengers to exit.
On early levels you only have 1 station you have to stop at, but as the game progress you will have up to 6 stops.

Timer on top of the screen:
When you start a new route you will notice that there is a timer.
This is the departure time, and its counted in seconds. Try to leave not later than the deadline.



Arrival time:
You need to arrive close to the deadline set by the game to get most of the money early on.
If you arrive too early simply stop the train near the sation, and wait it out.
Example of being too early:
You will see that the bar on top is red, this is way too early and can effect the income.



After waiting a bit it will turn to orange.



And optimal time should be green.



As you keep playing and grinding money you should ignore the rules entirely and just go as quickly as possible as the maps become way too long, you should do this only after getting the Law-Abiding Driver achievement.
Example of going as fast as possible:

This achievement is quite buggy, for me it unlocked while using the 2nd train and using the camera that shows the train in third person.
Simply press G and hold it for a few seconds repeat the process 50 times until it pops (In reality it may take way longer)

Activate the horn 50 times



Very straightforward simply keep playing and checking tickets of passangers
After around 1.5 hours of gameplay the achievement should unlock.

I Need This From You
Check 150 tickets



Once you have collected 50000 credits, go to depot and buy the EVS1 Sapsan train.
Start the game with it.

Hi-Tech Style Route
Ride the Sapsan train



After around 2h of gameplay you should unlock this achievement.
Just keep playing the game stopping at every station and it will unlock soon enough.

Mass Transit
Take 500 passengers



For this achievement you must finish 25 routes (levels) without hitting the speed limit.
Its easy to do with the first train, simply try to not reach maximum speed.
When the speed gauge on the right turns red and blinks, that means you exceeded the speed limit. Avoid that.
If you decide to use the 2nd train, never go above 230MPH.
You don't have to make 25 routes without violation in a row.

Law-Abiding Driver
Make 25 routes without violating the speed limit



Once you have unlocked the Law-Abiding Driver you can feel free to speed up as much as possible, we recommend the first train as you just accelerate to maximum and there is no risk of crashing due to too high speed. Simply drive at max speed, stop at every station and check all tickets to collect decent amount of credits at the end of each level.

After collecting 75000 credits, buy the NY Central Mercury train.
Start a game with it.

Steam and Brass
Ride the Steam Train



Accelerate with the train as much as possible and you will earn the achievement, this may require a few attempts as the tracks are random, keep trying until you get it.


Running Wild
Accelerate up to 400 km/hour
