Half-Life: Alyx is an upcoming computer game in the first-person shooter genre for virtual reality, developed and published by the American company Valve. The game is based on the Source 2 game engine, and its release is scheduled for 2020 on a PC running the Windows operating system for SteamVR virtual reality helmets. This is the first game in the Half-Life series, after a more than 12-year hiatus since the release of Half-Life 2: Episode Two in the US. 2007[2][3][4][5]. The story of the game tells about Alix Vance, who first appears in the series as the main character, about her father Eli Vance and their struggle against the occupation of earth by the alien civilization "Alliance".
