@LordBlade: This addon didn't need much changing for 1.7; the most noticeable change in release 2.2.0 is that the addon's "Sort gems by tier" game option now lives under the new [ZOmnibus] tab in the Game Options dialog. (We also make a stab at using 1.7's new localization support; I cannot attest to how successful this was...).

Any issues with 1.7?

Yes! I hate how the gems get scattered everywhere. This is great, thank you.

@HunterZ: Well, you've no doubt noticed that the game sorts your inventory as you pick up and use stuff; infusions and runes, for instance, tend to go near the top, rings and amulets are grouped together, and the like. The game's default inventory sorting order is pretty incomplete, however, and a lot of stuff gets arranged rather haphazardly. Gems, for instance, tend to get scattered throughout your inventory, and are ordered by color rather than by tier, which Alchemists will find annoying.

This addon tries to improve that by implementing a much more thorough sorting order (described in more detail here [forums.te4.org]). Gems, for instance, will now be grouped together and sorted by tier and then by color.

The description of what this does is super vague. Can anyone provide more details?
