Can you do this for the empire great sword too?? They also have like triangle block thing on the hands holding sword side.

Yes they are probably the worst offender. I mean there are harpies that become floating triangles at a certain distance, but there is no easy fix for that.

This doesn't remove the LOD it just edits the region of the texture map assigned to that LOD model to be dark metal grey instead of pure black.

LOD removers will fix every problem, but are kind of a nuclear option because of the performance hit.

Won't the other lod removers already remove this? Why is this specific to just these guys? Because they're the ugliest ones?

yes, you are right about the dark elf shields.

Another unit that fails and looks very bad, are the shield chaos warriors, same failure of the dark elves

To me dark elf shields appear as a light grey rectangle from extreme distance. I don't know any other unit that had such a glaring problem as the bestigor, what other units are there?? I know the Empire halberdier's weapon is clearly two black rectangles glued together in the shape of the axehead, but its not as bad as the bestigor...
