So you're lacking those precious gold pieces and are in need of some funds, eh? Have no fear, we've all been there and using this quick and easy guide, you'll be on your way to making millions in minutes.

Anyway, enough with the boring obligatory introduction, let's get on with it:

1) You're going to want to go to the general trading shop in Oakvale, as shown below:

2) You'll then want to talk to the shopkeeper, Friedrich.

3) Go over and click buy, then select the gifts tab, as shown below:

4) Buy ALL the emeralds you can, the more the better.

5) Then click sell, select the gifts tab again and sell all the emeralds back to him, like so:

6) Check your gold, rinse and repeat- good luck and enjoy your new found wealth.

You have to buy and sell ALL the emeralds at a time because if you sell them individually or 10 at a time the shopkeep's price will change as his price is based on how many he has in stock.

When selling to Store
22/22 in stock (market price)
69/22 in stock (market price)
10/22 in stock (under market value and probably less than you bought it for thus losing your profit)
0/22 in stock (Above market price)

When Buying From Store:
22/22 in stock (this trader sells for slightly under market value which makes you the profit)
69/22 in stock (Based on your Guile lvl you will be able to buy for better under market values)
0/22 in stock (you should have the emeralds in your inventory at this point and see the above market price again, start selling, rinse and repeat)

This works great if you buy all the emeralds from the other general shops in Albion, like Darkwood/Bowerstone
then return to the Oakvale shop and make sure to buy ALL his stock in one purchase so you get the best deal

I couldn't get it to work with the emeralds, (probubly because there were tooo many to by & they cost too much) but I did get it to work with healing potions. In my game, he only had about 15-17 healing potions in stock, where as i had about 30, so i was able to by all his with very little money.

I figured out the same thing a while ago. You can do this with practically anything. When you buy, demand goes up and so does the price, but only AFTER you make the purchase. Then selling makes it go down in the same way. Not sure how they let such a major glitch get through to the final release.
