Dungeon: Lost Dwemer Tomb

Beskrivning
My first dungeon, and a fairly simple one, in a cave just behind Vilemyr Inn in Ivarstead. Most sectons involve finding switches that open the way forward.

Waterbreathing is recommended for an underwater maze near the beginning, though I hid a couple of potions around. In the first room you have a bed, two safe storage barrels, and a journal (by the skeleton) that explains a little about the place.

Enemies include a variety of skeletons, and some spiders, though I raised all of their HP significantly, and they level with the player. Overall it's not a huge challenge. There's four hidden chests and a knapsack, dozens of coffins that might have gold & armour, and a boss chest at the end.

New items:
-Trophy Skull, carried by each skeleton, worth 150 gold.
-Ring of All Magic, in boss chest, makes spell casting free.


Open to suggestions; I want to improve on this for my next dungeon. Thanks!

Yeah, it's too bad there aren't more mythological-like monsters in Skyrim; even Oblivion had more for monsters. I'll probably make use of all the enemies in the game eventually, with these dungeons.

Hi WidgetKitty, I am looking forward to checking out your house mod and any other mods you have. I have pretty much completed most of Skyrim and am just checking out mods for the game. I wish they would add other monsters into the game like Chimera, Minotaur, Harpy's, Ogres and giant Snakes. They could be really great. There is a Medusa Armor but not a Medusa creature to fight against. In Skyrim how would you defeat Medusa, I would use a mirror shield to reflect her gaze back onto her. Then smash her with my sword DawnBreaker.(my favorite weapon).

@RhinoRobb Thanks so much, glad you liked it! I will be updating this at some point, so maybe the mother spider and final skeletons will get more health and extra damage perks. I wish it were that easy to add new enemies to the game, but it would require a lot of 3D modelling, which I'm not so great at. I'm kind of a story teller kind of gal myself - my upcoming dungeons have more background to them - but also love building maps and mazes to explore.

Actually, I have an almost complete house mod, with three mini dungeons, and another mod that's a full dungeon, half done. I think I'll upload them tonight or tomorrow as "friends only" if you'd like to test them for me!

WOW, I just completed it. The Boss Spider could have been meaner and larger, could of added suits of various armor in the final four coffins but over all, 5 out of 5 stars for difficulty and play-ability. Just needed meaner monsters like Chimera, Minotaur, Harpy's, Ogres and giant Snakes. Maybe a Medusa at the very end guarding a giant room filled with various treasure. Just thought for your next dungeon of Doom... Thank you for all your hard in making these mods. I wish I had the talent to do this but I am more of a story teller kind of guy. I have great ideas but I can't bring them to life. So I share them with moders in the hope they will take what they want and use them to create mods people can enjoy. Have a great day.

@RhinoRobb Dammit, really? I don't use followers, forgot to test for that. I'll take a look at the navmesh for this after I finish the mod I'm working on.

@RhinoRobb Thanks - The first two switches, one is at the end of the underwater maze, the other is across from where you exit from the maze, having to go down some ramps full of rubble.

A little bit further on you'll run into the mother of those baby spiders, who is kind of a miniboss...

not bad, I found 1 of the levers but kept getting lost and turned around. I loved the baby frost spiders. I got frustrated with it so I tuck a break form it.
