How to design:
To design a unit the first thing you need to do is click the blue icon in the bottom left corner highlighted here(or press F4).

Once you`ve clicked the blue icon a menu should pop-up showing all of your designs. You can click on any design to edit it, but to make a new one you need to click on the green hologram looking icon.

Once you`ve done that another two menus should also open, in the right menu you need to click on one of the vehicle bodies that you currently have researched. All shown bodies are available, I have highlighted the one I`ve chosen.

Then do the same for the propulsion and the weapon.

If you don`t want a weapon you can choose a "system" instead by clicking the systems icon highlighted in red( eg. truck, sensor, repair turret, ect.).

Different weapons have advantages against other units. The Propulsion determines the units weaknesses and strengths when being attacked and the weapon does the same for attacking(eg. mortars are bad against tracks)

You can now safely close this menu by clicking the green "Close" icon in the bottom left, but it will not be saved to other games of warzone unless you click the "Store design" button to save this design and keep it for later.
Notes
  • Vehicle bodies have different weights, so if you choose a body that isn't a light body then you will need a bigger factory to be able to produce them.
  • Different types of weapons do more/less damage to different propulsions depending on what they are but I havn't memorised them so I recommend looking it up.
  • The unit I made in this guide is just an example and may not be good
  • You cannot design new units unless you have a Command Centre.
  • You can click the green close icon, the X in the corner, or just right click to close the design menu.
  • This is the second oldest guide for warzone on steam.

Bodies come in 4 Flavors; Project, New Paradigm, Collective, and Nexus.

Project are balanced in all aspects between body points, kinetic, and thermal armor. They also have respectable engine power.

New Paradigm Bodies are lighter and are good for making fast units. They have higher thermal armor meaning they take less damage from incendiary weapons and lasers. They have lower body points however and can take less punishment in total.

Collective bodies are tough, heavy, and slow. High kinetic armor combined with tons of body points make them tough to destroy. Unfortunately, they lack the engine power to back up such weight and as a result tend to be quite slow.

Nexus Bodies excel in all areas. They are also quite expensive to manufacture but are truly top of the line models.

Super Heavy Bodies have high body points and all armor but are slow. The Dragon has the ability to carry two weapon turrets (name becomes Hydra). They will be the last bodies on the tech tree.

Nice guide, but I expected some tips like, what units should I use in certain situations (low energy, strong enemy etc.), what is the best Main Battle Unit in your opinion and so on.

I can honestly say you would've been better off with the Cobra Class Body-nice all-arounder with good speed and HP. Still nice tutorial.
