to get the rewards, you must complete the game without closing the game, you can use alt + tab to see other things, but NEVER close the game, you must complete it in one go, it doesn't matter if you die, what you can't do is save, close the game and play it another day by loading the save, this is where the rewards get "corrupted", unfortunately EA never fixed this, this doesn't happen on console.

This is great info. Kinda wish I knew about the glitch preventing you from obtaining the hand cannon normally before completing my hardcore run. At least I can say I earned it.

This worked for the most part, thank you. For whatever reason though it unlocked the handcannon and other items, but not the elite versions of the suits. Weird.

For the people who can't find it, turn on/off your hidden files option, whichever one allows your hidden files to appear. I'm using Windows, so I just have to click the three buttons on the folder --> view --> the "show hidden files option."
