Step by step
Step 1: Locate Wizardry 6 in your Steam Library, right click on it and select "Properties"

Step 2: Select "Local Files" Tab and click "Browse local files"

Step 3: In the Explorer window that just opened, double click "dosbox_windows" folder

Step 4: Double click "daum" folder

Step 5: Open the file named "dosbox_wizardry6.conf"

Step 6: Scroll down a bit and find the line "pixelshader=point.fx" and replace it with "pixelshader=DotnBloom.D3D.fx" (without the quotes), then close & save the file.

Step 7: Back in the Steam Library start Wizardry 6 and in the popup window select "Play Wizardry 6 with DOSBox Daum"
Using other shaders
Open the "shaders" folder from the same directory you´ve been editing the config file in

Copy any of the filenames in here, go back to Step 5 & 6 and paste it into the config

Be aware that most of the shaders in there will actually make the game look worse, especially the ones with faux Anti Aliasing (AA) are really bad for a game as pixelated as this. This will take some trial & error.

Although if you find one that stands out as likeable feel free to share it in the comment section :-)

And one more. In this guides section here, on above this thread, there is a "Wizardry automapping" thread. Works pretty well. Unfortunatly, it seems not to work with DOS Daum Box. Is there a way, to bring this 2 things together? Would be nice. Thanks.

Not exactly an HD game, but definitely an HD guide. Phenomenal. Thank you for the effort in creating something that everyone can freely use.
