I left him alive but not out of the thought of mercy, more, I had the idea I could hurt him for years on end and let my who family get their revenge. At the very least if I were to kill him it would probibly be by brazzen bull or, dropping him into boiling water, or slather him with honey and tie him to an ant hill. Roast him alive at the very least. He tried to kill me and then burned lulie alive and beat her. Beheading is far to easy a death for him. I'm glad he's screaming for the rest of his days in a prision cell.

i mean kings aren't known for being great escape artists and killing another nation's king is a pretty good reason for the war. at any rate Ivo was a bastard and both options aren't good for him

My character doesn't know that, though. The King I was playing as didn't have meta knowledge about the alternate outcome.

he doesn't, your kingdom doesn't have to prepare for another war, just a few skirmishes. There's never a successor because he is still alive, they just focus on trying to save him despite not having the resources anymore

Counterpoint: Our dungeon has giant holes in the walls. I didn't want him escaping a couple years down the line.

it wasn't about forgiveness, death is much better than he deserved

A quick end is more than this guy deserved. In my mind, leaving him alive was only for removing parts later. :gargoyle:

He killed my daughter and Dusty. There was no forgiveness.
