• Open your game

• Open "Options"

• Open "Online"

• Turn off "Community Event Participation"

To make it easier, i even made screenshots with the steps.

Some extra info

• No, the game is not bugged nor broken. It's a community event.

• You have to turn the event off each time you start the game, it might be a bit annoying, but not game breaking.

• Every event has different rewards and tasks.

• Each event has 2 objectives; Personal bounty where you have to kill an X amount of zombies / collect X amount of items and Global bounty, where Techland picks an amount of kills, let's say 500000 zombies killed, and the community needs to reach that number.

• Once you complete your personal bounty, you will get a new weapon or item /outfit. In the current event you get a weapon, that might come in handy if you're new. Once the community reaches the said amout of zombie kills / items collected, each and every player who participated will be rewarded. In this current event you get a Last Hope blueprint.

• Also, you cannot turn off the event if you're in-game, in the open world. Simply pausing the game won't do it. You need to close your current session and then do the steps above.

• If you have the event, but the disable option is missing, then check your updates, the integrity of the files, restart Steam. I had this problem in the past, and it was fixed once i restarted Steam.

This dude stole completely my guide, lol. He was too lazy to even replace the screenshots. Even stole the basic info. Also deleted my comments when i called him out.

Instead of writing that essay, you could've just disabled the event. Simple as that. Just a press of a button.

Why the hell would anyone enjoy such a stupid boring bloody idea, screaming bloody zombies running for you and its only the really annoying viral bloody stupid ffs aaaaarggh, so angry why would they just FUCK my game up like this it makes me want to kill humans, next time put pictures of the devs who added this stupid left 4 dead update so i can smash there brains out for fun, FKN DIKS I not getting number 2 there idea of a good game is this mindless reparation then I'll leave your games for dead bloody ,,.
