What is Degenerate Core?
Degenerate Core is a dependency for any Degenerate Customs and Degenerate Mission mods. The Core files allow the following features that can be freely implemented by any other mod author into their mod:

  • DG1_fnc_randomKit: Used in Customs and Missions - Allows randomised equipment on infantry units, see function sqf for full guide.
  • DG1_fnc_randomiseUnits: Used in Missions - Allows vanilla units to have randomised kit to help reduce amount of mods needed, guide still being made.
  • DG1_fnc_triggerSpawn: Used in Missions - Allows large numbers of patrols to exist on the map without impacting framerate, see function sqf for full guide or video tutorial found above.
  • DG1_fnc_baseStore: Used in Missions - Allows large numbers of troops to be placed in garrison around the map without impacting framerate, guide still being made.
  • DG1_fnc_defaultRange: Currently sets all default ranges used in above scripts to 1000m however this is planned to be modifiable by the end user of a mission
