Group Aim
Mindless pursuit of high stats renders the game boring and pointless. So we've decided to do maps for the DD community by request for FREE. This is a group set up to help DD players to learn more about every aspect of the game from characters, skills, upgrading to map builds. We offer free carries on almost all maps and challenges. We provide build advice and answer all questions with regard to the game. We also offer farming runs to our members. We'd like to see more skilled and experienced players join our course to help the community instead of FARMING ALL BY YOURSELF.

Problems accessing our website
Usually this is caused by your ISP's DNS servers, and as such can be easily fixed (which will also speed up your browsing of the Internet). The solution for this is to change your current DNS servers to Google or OpenDNS public DNS servers.

Changing DNS server settings on Microsoft Windows 7:
1. Go the Control Panel.
2. Click Network and Internet, then Network and Sharing Center, and click Change adapter settings.
3. Select the connection for which you want to configure Google Public DNS. For example:
To change the settings for an Ethernet connection, right-click Local Area Connection, and click Properties.
To change the settings for a wireless connection, right-click Wireless Network Connection, and click Properties.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
4. Select the Networking tab. Under This connection uses the following items, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and then click Properties.
5. Click Advanced and select the DNS tab. If there are any DNS server IP addresses listed there, write them down for future reference, and remove them from this window.
6. Click OK.
7. Select Use the following DNS server addresses. If there are any IP addresses listed in the Preferred DNS server or Alternate DNS server, write them down for future reference.
8. Replace those addresses with the IP addresses of:
The Google DNS servers:
For IPv4: 8.8.8.8 and/or 8.8.4.4.
OR
OpenDNS DNS servers:
For IPv4: 208.67.222.222 and/or 208.67.220.220.
9. Restart the connection you selected in step 3.
10. Test that your setup is working correctly
11. Repeat the procedure for additional network connections you want to change.
How to submit map requests once you're a group member?
Please, submit ALL map requests via our very own website - http://ddfrbr.com.

Step 1 - sign in to http://ddfrbr.com
If you are using the Steam in-game browser, sign-in is automatic.

Step 2 - request a map under "Requests - Request map"[ddfrbr.com]
What to do after submitting a map request?
You MUST join the group chat for submitted requests to be entertained.

Group chat is the only place where our moderators can contact you with a simple chat request. If you are nowhere to be found in the group chat, your map requests will be ignored.

Additional benefits of joining group chat

You may ask any questions. Our friendly moderators and members will gladly answer them.
Tons of runs are offered in group chat. If we were you, we would join the group chat whenever we were playing DD ^^
How do we help new players with game progression?
In order to better help out newer players to progress, we have recently started a campaign. For each new player, you will be gifted one Mythical DPS set and a BF Drill. After that, we will teach you how to play Lab Assault insane hardcore (arguably the best place to farm armors). You will also need to learn about bringing in afk characters using emulators.

Emulator guide is located here

Rules!!!
  • You need to be a group member to join our runs.
  • It's FREE, so please be polite and gracious. Don't take our efforts and kindness for granted.
  • We do NOT run Crystalline Dimension, Greater Turkey Hunt or Lab assault.
  • We'd only run players who are eager to learn and participate. If you go afk in our runs, you'll be kicked so others could join.
  • Please be responsive to our in-game friendly chat. If you do not reply to our chats, it's deemed disrespectful and you'll be kicked.
  • Please follow the instructions given by the map runner.
  • No begging for mana, items or other maps during the run.
  • No extra (afk) characters are allowed unless approved by the map runner.
  • Hackers will be banned from our group. You're not allowed to wear/use hacked gears when running with us.
  • Do not knowingly play with hackers, or knowingly join games where people use hacked gears.
Experienced DD players wanted!
We are currently recruiting experienced players to join our course. Interested players please join our group and find either me or sniffy in our group chat.

Furthermore, is there some kind of minimum age requirements (for being a moderator)? I'm only 17, so not an adult by law.

Alright, sounds cool. Now I'm out since it's Valentine's Day, but when I come back I'll join your group and try find you in the chat. Is there anything else I as a "experienced" DD player should know except the rules and the moderator position?

@Weltensohm

All experienced players are welcome to join our course, no matter how 'irregularly' you play the game. You can offer runs in our group chat and find joiners easily.

For official moderators of the group, you will only need to do 1 map request every 2 weeks to maintain your moderator position, which is hardly any requirement at all. In addition, if you can contribute to the group in ways other than doing map requests, you may also stay as a moderator.

Oh, and furthermore, I'd want to add that german is my mother tongue so my English is not thaaat good.
Weltensohn 14 Feb, 2014 @ 7:41am
The thing is, I'd love to join your group to help beginners (my stats are all around 4k or something, so I can do close to everything in 4 player, except Silent Night NMHC, Winter Wonderland, all of these maps), but I'm not playing regularely at all.
When I'm in the mood, I play like 5-10 hours a day, continuing this for a week, maybe one or two months, and if I'm not in the mood months can come without me playing the game. So would you also be interested in some kind of "not regular playing somehow experienced player"?

@Fugsmucker
You're welcome.

Hero speed cap is 100.

I have shared my builds for Mythical-geared builders on DD forum. Check out these two threads:
http://dungeondefenders2.com/forum/showthread.php?110125-What-can-Mythical-geared-builders-do-Clear-the-game!
http://forums.dungeondefenders2.com/showthread.php?110205-What-can-Mythical-geared-builders-do-Crystalline-Dimension-NMHC!

You can set DDFRBR as your primary Steam group under 'Groups'.

Follow my EXACT route. There shouldn't be any problem.

Good job. Keep it up!

Personally I still have quite a few hard maps to do.. I took a long break from the game and after coming back I'm dumbfounded by how hard it's gonna be.
